The Adelaide Football Club is one of eighteen teams participating in the AFL.  The Club has a proven track record of success both on and off the field.

We are seeking a Senior IT Support Officer for a full time 12 month contract. This Senior IT Support Officer position, reporting to the IT Manager, is an exciting opportunity to play a leadership role in a unique industry. This role's primary purpose is to assist in ensuring the streamlined operations of the Club's information technology department in alignment with our business and football objectives. 

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the IT Manager plan, administer, develop and maintain, and support the general staffs use of computer and telecommunications systems within the Club. 

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated, with an ability to demonstrate the following skills & competencies: 

  • Relevant industry qualifications and workplace-based experience in the deployment and support of ICT (and related) infrastructure;
  • Experience setting targets, budgets and monitoring and measuring performance would be an advantage;
  • Demonstrate specialist knowledge of, and expertise in, the administration of LANs, IP phone systems, database and email systems - in particular Microsoft Server based services;
  • Demonstrate specialist knowledge of, and expertise in, MAC/Apple environments - in particular MS LAN integration;
  • Ability to rebuild servers and desktop PC’s and virtual servers in VMware environment;
  • Proven client relationship management skills and communications strategies;
  • BYOD skills.

After-hours work is required and the ability to work on home match days is essential. 

This role would ideally suit an applicant who has gained relevant experience working within a dynamic IT support role in the enterprise for at least 2 years.
