LIMITED standing room tickets are available in both the public reserve and AFL reserve for the blockbuster clash between Carlton and Collingwood at the MCG on Friday.

The AFL has advised that fans planning to attend the game must purchase or upgrade to a ticket to gain access to the venue.

This includes general members of both clubs, who will not be able to scan into the ground on the day.

AFL members must purchase or upgrade to a standing room ticket for access to the venue.

MCC members can still purchase visitor tickets for guests, with a limit of four guests for each member.

Ticket sales are also strong for the Geelong and Hawthorn clash at the same venue on Saturday night.

The AFL encourages fans to buy tickets in advance through Ticketek to avoid disappointment.
