CARLTON has been dealt a double injury blow ahead of its clash against Hawthorn on Friday night, with key talls Lachie Henderson and Michael Jamison withdrawn 90 minutes before the bounce.

The Hawks have also made a late change, with gun forward Jack Gunston withdrawn with a corked calf and replaced by third-gamer Tim O'Brien.

The Blues, who have called in defender Matthew Watson and young midfielder Nick Graham, were forced to make the changes after Jamison and Henderson failed to come up from minor injuries.

Henderson complained of a tight hamstring sustained at training on Thursday, while Jamison is still battling a sore shoulder after last week's loss to Geelong.

Watson, who has played 17 career games in four seasons, last played for the Blues in round one. Graham, meanwhile, has played three games in two seasons and once this year, in round four.

O'Brien is one of Hawthorn's developing young forwards, recruited with the club's first pick at the 2012 NAB AFL Draft (No.28 overall). He played the opening two matches this season.
