THE BEST of the SANFL and the WAFL will square off in the Foxtel Cup Grand Final, with West Adelaide to battle it out with East Fremantle in Tuesday night's decider at AAMI Stadium.

West Adelaide will look to become the first South Australian team to claim the title, while East Fremantle will be looking to follow in the footsteps of last year's winner and WAFL foe, Claremont.

The winner of Tuesday night's game will take home $100,000 in prize-money.

West Adelaide smashed Port Melbourne by 53 points in round one of the Foxtel Cup, before booking its place in the competition decider with a hard-fought 17-point win over Claremont in the semi-final.

East Fremantle knocked off Norwood by seven points in round one. They then cruised to a 24-point win over the Werribee Tigers to earn their spot in the Grand Final.

The Bloods are led by former Hawthorn midfielder Travis Tuck, who featured prominently in the early rounds, while the club has been boosted by the inclusion of ex-Gold Coast defender Joel Tippett (brother of the Sydney Swans' Kurt).

Famous for his 2002 Anzac Day heroics, former Collingwood midfielder Mark McGough will be looking to skipper the Sharks to the championship.

Another familiar name to appear for East Fremantle is ex-Docker and St Kilda wingman Brett Peake.

Both sides will be out to join Williamstown (2011) and Claremont (2012) as winners of the three-year state league competition.

The game will be broadcast on Fox Footy from 8:30pm AEST.
