X-RAYS have cleared West Coast midfielder Sharrod Wellingham of bone damage to the ankle he hurt against North Melbourne on Friday night.

Wellingham had X-rays on his left ankle in the hours after West Coast's thrilling victory over the Kangaroos at Patersons Stadium.

Speaking on Melbourne radio SEN, Worsfold said Wellingham would have MRI scans on Monday to determine whether he had suffered ligament damage to the ankle.

The former Collingwood onballer was just three games into his first season with his new club after missing the opening five games with a right ankle injury from a trampolining accident.
