HAWTHORN has regained star players Luke Hodge, LanceFranklin and Grant Birchall for Friday night's blockbuster clash withCollingwood at the MCG. 

Hodge missed last weekend's win over St Kilda afterundergoing thumb surgery, while Franklin was sidelined by hamstring soreness. Birchallis back after missing seven matches due to a knee injury.

Elsewhere, Essendon has made five changes as it endeavoursto get its season back on track, while Gary Rohan is in the running to play hisfirst game for the Sydney Swans since breaking his leg in round four last year. 

With Hodge, Franklin and Birchall back, Hawthorn was forcedto omit three players and the axe fell on Jon Simpkin, Matt Spangher and SamGrimley. 

The Magpies are going in with the same team that beat the Swanslast weekend. 

Richmond has made two changes for its big clash with Carltonat the MCG on Saturday afternoon. 

The Tigers have brought in Ricky Petterd and highly-ratedbut injury-prone defender Dylan Grimes, who will play his first AFL game sinceround six. 

Chris Newman is out with an ankle injury and Robin Nahas hasbeen omitted. 

The Blues have lost Chris Judd to a knee injury,Jeff Garlett to a glute problem and Matthew Watson to a foot injury. They havealso dropped Sam Rowe and Jaryd Cachia. 

They have been replaced by Levi Casboult, Mitch Robinson,Andrew McInnes, Tom Bell and Nick Graham, who has excelled at VFL level for muchof the season. 

Port Adelaide has brought Cameron Hitchcock, Campbell Heathand Tom Jonas into its side to play Gold Coast at AAMI Stadium on Saturdayafternoon. 

Domenic Cassisi (hamstring) and John Butcher (hip) areinjured, while Kane Mitchell has been omitted. 

The Suns have replaced Nathan Bock (leg), Campbell Brown(suspension), Sam Day (hamstring) and Alex Sexton (shoulder) with JackHutchins, Jackson Allen, Andrew Boston and Josh Hall. 

Essendon has brought experienced players Leroy Jetta andStewart Crameri into its team for the Saturday twilight clash with NorthMelbourne at Etihad Stadium. 

The Bombers have also turned to youth, with promoted rookieLauchlan Dalgleish to play his first game while Nick O'Brien and Joe Daniher eachget another chance. 

The Dons have lost Jason Winderlich (hamstring) and ScottGumbleton (soreness) to injuries, while Patrick Ryder and Dustin Fletcher aresuspended and David Myers is being rested. 

North Melbourne has made just two changes, with Nathan Grimaand Brad McKenzie replacing Taylor Hine and Taylor Garner, who have beenomitted. 

The Brisbane Lions have made four changes for Mark Harvey'sfirst game in charge as interim coach against Greater Western Sydney at theGabba on Saturday night. 

Ash McGrath, Rohan Bewick, Mitch Golby and Simon Black arein, while Brent Moloney (hamstring), Jesse O'Brien (omitted), Stefan Martin(hamstring) and Justin Clarke (shoulder) are out.

Melbourne has brought five players, including Jeremy Howeand Cam Pedersen into its 25-man squad for its game against Fremantle at theMCG on Sunday afternoon. 

The Dockers have added Stephen Hill, Hayden Crozier and MattTaberner to the team that thrashed Greater Western Sydney last weekend. 

Rohan is the headline inclusion in the Sydney Swans squad toplay St Kilda at the SCG on Sunday afternoon, which also includes fellowyoungsters Jed Lamb and Harry Cunningham. 

The Saints have included Stephen Milne in their squad buthave left out Lenny Hayes (soreness). 

The in-form Western Bulldogs have brought three players,including their skipper Matthew Boyd, into their squad for the Sunday twilightgame against Adelaide at Etihad Stadium. 

The Crows have lost Ricky Henderson to a knee injury. ShaunMcKernan and Sam Kerridge are among the players included in their extendedsquad.
