 Adelaide
PlayerInjuryEstimated Return
Patrick DangerfieldShoulderTBC
Jared PetrenkoConcussionTest
Brent ReillyShoulderSeason
Aidan RileyLegSeason
Taylor WalkerKneeSeason

The Doc says: Dangerfield has high-grade AC joint sprain and will need four weeks to properly settle. He could play with strapping but the Crows are aware that he may aggravate damage and prolong his recovery. They will reassess later in the week but risk versus benefit is high and he will most likely miss this week. Petrenko is a good chance if he passes a concussion assessment late in the week.

 Brisbane Lions

The Doc says: No new injuries reported from weekend. Black and Moloney are both outside chances but are unlikely to play.

Alan TooveyKneeSeason
Clinton YoungHamstringIndefinite

The Doc says: Young is an unwelcome setback with yet another hammy injury – he may miss 3-4 weeks minimum. Jolly had a training injury requiring knee scope surgery and will need at least three more weeks to recover.

The Doc says: The Cats have a surprisingly large injury list although none are long-term except for Menzel. Stokes and Christensen need at least another week in treatment but Enright, Vardy and Corey are ready to play. McIntosh continues to have an interrupted season and recent ankle surgery will only slow down his finals prospects. Chapman is finally set to play in the VFL after his round four hamstring injury.

The Doc says: Franklin is a reasonable prospect to play but would benefit from another week off; the club will assess the risk-benefit option later in the week. Rioli rolled his ankle early in Saturday's game but completed the match – he was sore after so will be nursed and is unlikely to play unless he trains at full capacity late in the week. Stratton will have full concussion monitoring all week and is doubtful
