The Western Bulldogs, as one of the 18 clubs of the Australian Football League (AFL) and situated in the fastest growing region of Australia, is breaking new ground in delivering sustainable, high level performances, both on and off the field.  We are seeking Manager, Merchandise to lead our merchandise and retail operations team.

You will spend most of your working day managing the day to day merchandise and retail business, with specific emphasis on growth in consumer spend and satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have experience in high volume retail and the ability to lead a small, hardworking team. You will have a commitment to making the customer your number one priority and to lead by example. Ideally you will have a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

 The key skills include:

·       Customer Sales & Service - Management and development of procedures and standards to ensure that customers receive and efficient and high quality experience.

·       Retail Operations - Day to day management of key retail operations and identification of additional opportunities

·       Marketing & Strategy - Development of marketing and strategic plans to deliver and exceed budget and targets.

·       Inventory Management - Responsibility for development and subsequent management of inventory.

This role is required to have flexible working hours, including weekend work, based on a store requirement roster, rotating on a two week basis.
