BEATEN grand finalist Adelaide has posted a statutory profit of nearly $650,000 after a record-breaking year off the field in 2017.

The Crows signed more than 80,000 members last season and also hit new highs for corporate sponsorship and hospitality takings after topping the AFL ladder.

Revenue totalled $54.9m – almost a 14 per cent year-on-year increase – and the club's cash profit was nearly $3.5m.

Adelaide reduced debt by $753,241 down to $1.21m and ran a profitable AFLW program after winning the competition's inaugural premiership.

"Every Crows member and fan should be proud of what their club has achieved both on and off the field in the past 12 months," chairman Rob Chapman said.

"The AFL is a demanding industry and it takes a great deal of planning and hard work to achieve the progress experienced in recent years."

Meanwhile, 1997 premiership player Rod Jameson has been re-elected to the board.

Jameson, who played 153 games for the Crows, will serve another two years after joining as a director in 2015.
