The actual Lions players who are controlling teams in the popular online fantasy football competition struggled in Round 4 as three different teams were scheduled with a Bye.
All 10 teams dropped in their overall placings among fans in the Lions’ Group with the best two ranked players - Daniel Rich and Joel Patfull - falling 59 and 50 spots respectively.
Rich and Patfull remain the best ranked Lions but have relinquished their positions inside the top 200.
Tom Rockliff’s team ‘Rocky’s Rebels’ continued its slide down to 551st overall out of around 650 competitors.
Meanwhile, the early bolter in the Lions League is still Scully’s ‘rAnDOM1zzz3d’ who held onto his first position overall for the second consecutive week ahead of Josh’s ‘bradpitt FFC’ who has bulleted into second.
‘Footy Felines’ - coached by Paul - have moved into outright fifth after scoring the most points of the round with 2,240.
Round 5 also promises to be tricky for AFL Dream Team coaches with three teams - Melbourne, Sydney and the West Coast Eagles - having a Bye.
The Lions’ on-field rankings obviously haven’t altered considering they were not involved in any matches last weekend.
