Richmond’s steady improvement, a quarter of the way through the 2011 home-and-away season, is underlined through its increased spread of goalkickers.

Reigning Coleman Medallist, Jack Riewoldt, leads the competition’s goalkicking with 21 goals after six rounds.  Next at Tigerland is Jake King, on 11 goals, followed by Dustin Martin, 10 goals, Ty Vickery, seven goals, and Matthew White, six goals.

This time last year, Riewoldt was the No. 1 Tiger goalkicker, with 13, King was goalless in the one game he’d played, Martin had two goals from five games, Vickery had one goal from six games, and White hadn’t scored a goal in his two appearances.

After Round 6 of the 2010 season, it was Riewoldt with 13 goals, followed by Mitch Morton, on six goals, with Robin Nahas and Ben Nason on five goals apiece.

Riewoldt has now kicked 99 goals in his last 28 games, while King has 22 from his last 11 games.
