Hope your eye is getting better!!! Don't you think August is the best month and my birthday is a day after yours!! I was just wondering who was your idol in footy, who did you look up to? Also what is your favourite movie?

Hey Mary,
August is a great month and only the best are born in that month haha. I grew up watching Jonathon Brown, I loved watching him play and still do today, but I also look up to Darren Glass; the way he plays and leads this club is amazing!  I am honoured to run alongside him each week. My favourite movie would be Shawshank Redemption. I love that movie, but also the Ace Venturers.
 
Hey Josh,
I wanted to ask you how it feels when you are playing in the forward line and they put a great backman on you like Scarlett. Is it intimidating or an honour to be thought of as such a threat?

Yes I will say hi for ya! You really look at it as a great challenge, they’re the best of the best and to put yourself to the test against them is great.  You know it’s going to be hard but its’ why we play the game, to challenge ourselves against the best!

Hey guys,
I should be right this week, I’ve just got to get the all clear from the doc today but I reckon I’ll be right for selection. The boys have been playing well so hopefully I can fit in there somewhere!  I don’t think I’ve lost fitness, I’ve just to be careful of my body adapting from doing nothing for a week then going straight into training, but the physios and sports science people have a program set for me so I should be all good!

I live in Victoria and try to get to all the games that I can. Every game I go to, I bring a nice big sign that says OOH AHH MARK LeCRAS. I was wondering if either you or Lecca or anyone else has seen it while at Etihad. It always gets some laughs from the Eagles supporters I’m sitting around. Also, good luck with the eye injury, I'm sure Coxy must've felt bad after pretty much ruining your Coleman chances.

Yes I have seen it! It looks great and I’m sure Lecca has seen it as well. I reckon you will have to start the chant going and get the whole crowd to sing it out!! And yes, I’ll be staying far away from Coxy and tennis balls this week!! haha

It is great to see that heading into finals we have almost a full squad to choose from (provided your eye gets better!) so as a result there are a lot of great players in the WAFL each week. How do these guys work to remain feeling part of the team? Do you guys who are lucky enough to be playing each week do anything to help them feel included? Also, do they always train with the main group or with their WAFL clubs? And lastly, of all the blokes who haven’t played at all this year with the main group, who is closest to a breakthrough? Hams, Broome, Jones etc? Thanks,

Hey Liam,
It’s great to see everyone up and about. The boys in WAFL have been playing great nd that’s what you want, a healthy team of everyone playing well and the WAFL boys putting pressure on us guys in the seniors.  We all train together, but on Fridays, the WAFL boys will attend their team’s meetings, so we are basically always together. It would be hard sometimes, but we have a belief that you will get chance as long as you stick at it. Boys are playing great games in the WAFL week by week, and they know that their chance will come and when it does, they will be ready to go because they haven’t given up!  Hamsy is close and so is Brett Jones, so  I’d say one of them will be soon!
