NRL & AFL are set to clash in Melbourne’s west as the Western Bulldogs take on NRL team Melbourne Storm in a 20/20 cricket friendly this Sunday.
Players will go head to head in a 20/20 cricket match starting from 3pm this Sunday 8 February 2009 at the St Albans Sporting Club, with the likes of Western Bulldogs stars Brad Johnson, Brian Lake & Ryan Hargrave and Storm greats Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk & Billy Slater taking the field.

Having never donned on the cricketing gloves or pads before, Western Bulldogs defender Ryan Hargrave is very much looking forward to taking on the Storm. “We’ve got a guy who was awarded a scholarship for his cricketing skills – he’ll be our secret weapon along with a couple of other smokies.”
