Keep

Lance Franklin [FWD, $381,000] exploded at Etihad Stadium last Friday night, booting a season-high eight goals against his Bomber bunnies.

His form has been patchy – at best –  but he returned to top form against Essendon.

His price is well below what his expected output will be this week against Richmond, so take the chance and bring him in to your side this week.

You could well be looking at a Buddy bonanza.

Trade

Gold Coast ruckman Tom Nicholls [RUC, $342,200] has done a power of work for the Suns this season.

Nicholls has averaged nearly 80 Fantasy points, but injury limited him to a paltry score of 25 against the Blues.

Matthew Kreuzer [RUC, $452,500] was part of the cause of Nicholls' downfall and has had a stellar last month – averaging 99 points from his past three games.

So a straight swap, with the extra cash you have handy, looks to be a fine trade indeed.

Invest

Tom Liberatore [MID, $472,700] has hardly put a foot wrong in the Western Bulldogs' engine room this season.

Liberatore has averaged 119.7 Fantasy points over his last three games, on the back of a mammoth 142-point game against West Coast on Sunday.

The Bulldogs youngster is equal leader, with West Coast's Matt Priddis, in the competition in clearances and sits alongside Gary Ablett and Sydney Swan Josh Kennedy in contested possessions.

That's some company.

That hurts

North Melbourne skipper Andrew Swallow [MID, $389,100] is done for the year after surgery on his ruptured Achilles.

It's a huge blow for the Kangaroos' slim finals hopes and equally as big a loss for your Fantasy team.

Swallow has averaged a solid 95 Fantasy points this year, so finding a replacement will be difficult.

If you've got a little bit of extra coin in the kitty, then Kieren Jack [MID, $457,500] should be the man you're after.

Surprise packet

Injuries are part and parcel of the game, but they can be cruel all the same.

Young Geelong big man Nathan Vardy [RUC, $239,600] has had his fair share of injury setbacks, but is finally having a good crack at things.

Vardy scored 106 Fantasy points in just his third game of the season against the Saints on the weekend. The knee injury, as unfortunate as it is, to Dawson Simpson is likely to ensure Vardy remains in the Geelong side right up until finals.
