FOOTY'S back and so is the AFL Record, which has undergone a number of changes for its 113th season.

AFL Media's designers have been hard at work over the summer, producing a fresh design that makes the pages cleaner and easier to read.

In addition, the major feature stories have been repositioned to the front half of the magazine.

The articles focussing on the latest news, stats and trends in the game are now part of a new section called The Back Half.

The middle of the Record features a new-look match-day section, which includes a game preview and expert tips, team headshots and updated stats for each club.

The printed version of the Record will be on sale at every game of the Toyota AFL Premiership season.

But if you can't get to a game, you can download the iPad version by searching for the AFL Record at the Apple App Store.

The iPad version features selected stories from the print edition, video content, including player interviews and match highlights and photo galleries.
