SYDNEY midfielder Dan Hannebery is set to be fit for the Swans' elimination final against Greater Western Sydney on Saturday week at the SCG.

Hannebery, 27, was injured against Hawthorn and managed to play out the game but spent just 49 per cent of the match on the field.

"Dan had a couple of knocks. Early on in the game, he just suffered a gash above the knee, which required a bit of treatment on the bench, but he was clearly able to get back on the park," football manager Tom Harley told sydneyswans.com.au.

"Then during the third quarter, a heavy corkie. His quad clashed with Ben McEvoy's leg. Purely accidental.

"He wasn't really able to get going after that the three-quarter time break, which was disappointing for him.

"With the bye this week, it gives him plenty of time to get himself right. He'll be available for the first final against the Giants."

Brilliant duo Lance Franklin and Luke Parker should be right after groin concerns that forced them to miss the Hawks clash.

"The risk of injury and therefore jeopardising the first final was far too great," Harley said.

"In saying that, they are making all the right noises and going through all the right steps this week with the bye week, in readiness to train next week and be available for the first final against the Giants.

"As it stands, we expect both Luke and Lance to play unless anything unforeseen happens."

Sam Reid is back training after an Achilles complaint and is set to line up in the NEAFL side's first final, which is the same weekend as the AFL's team's final.

"The plan at this stage will be to get Sam up for some minutes in the first final in the NEAFL," Harley said.

"Still obviously a week-and-a-half to go before that is the case, but we're really hopeful that will be the case."
