SAM Mitchell needs to change his approach to collisions or he will risk regular suspensions, Garry Lyon says.
Hawthorn veteran Mitchell has come under the microscope for his clash with Nat Fyfe that forced the Fremantle midfielder from the field for treatment.
It comes just three weeks after the Match Review Panel cleared Mitchell of wrongdoing in a similar clash with Adelaide skipper Taylor Walker that left the star Crow with a corked thigh.
However, Lyon said he had no problem with Fyfe's aggressive spoil on Hawk Taylor Duryea that could earn the star Docker a second fine of the season.
