Our second stop - Devonport Primary showed great support for Hawthorn

Students participated by making paper Hawthorn guernseys, “Go Hawks” signs and bringing along their favourite Hawthorn merchandise to our Hawks In Schools presentation.

Three students paraded our three Hawks guernseys for all to see - our traditional playing strip, our clash guernsey and a Hawks’ replica guernsey that was worn in the 60’s and 70’s.

Students from 3/4 and 5 classes also engaged in an active participation session in the school gymnasium, this included obstacle courses and games run by Dane and Ben from UTAS.

Thank you to all the staff from Burnie Primary and principle Tony Preece for having us at their school.
