WESTERN Bulldogs midfielder Ryan Griffen has moved up to No. 15 in the Official AFL Player Ratings, brought to you by Vero, after a dominant performance against Port Adelaide in Darwin on the weekend.

Griffen's 40 possessions and nine tackles equated to 29.4 player ratings points, which was the highest score in round 10.

Brisbane Lions midfielder Jack Redden (28.5), Carlton's Andrew Walker (26.8), Collingwood's Paul Seedsman (24.9) and Hawthorn forward Paul Puopolo (24.2) were the other leading scorers on the weekend.

North Melbourne veteran Brent Harvey's best on ground performance in his 350th game saw him finish as the highest player ratings scorer in the Kangaroos' win over St Kilda.

Harvey's 23 possessions and four goals equated to 20.9 points.

Despite having a very tough week leading into the game, Sydney Swans champion Adam Goodes was the highest scorer in the reigning premiers' win over Essendon.

Goodes' four-goal effort against the Bombers equated to 21.9 points.

First-year Richmond midfielder Nick Vlastuin, who starred in the Tigers' upset victory over West Coast at Patersons Stadium on Monday night, has continued his rise up the player ratings table.

Vlastuin has moved up 34 places from 530 to 496.

Gold Coast midfielder Gary Ablett, who produced a dazzling display against former team Geelong at Simonds Stadium on Saturday night, remains the No. 1 player in the AFL.

Sydney Swans star Josh Kennedy is No. 2.

In something of a surprise, Collingwood gun Scott Pendlebury and injured Hawthorn forward Cyril Rioli have swapped places, with Rioli climbing to No. 6 and Pendlebury slipping to No. 7.

The reason is that some big games that Pendlebury played back in 2011 have now dropped out of his rolling 40-game window, which means those points have been removed from his running tally.

His performances this season have not generated enough points to maintain a spot in the top six.

Rioli does not have as many points to defend from 2011, so he has remained high up on the ratings table even though he's currently sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Hawthorn's Lance Franklin and Goodes are the No. 1 and No. 2 forwards, while West Coast's Shannon Hurn is the top-rated defender.

Fellow Eagle Nic Naitanui is the leading ruckman.
