GREATER Western Sydney skipper Phil Davis has accepted his offer of a $1000 fine for striking Carlton's Jed Lamb in Sunday's clash at Etihad Stadium.

Davis landed a 'backhand' blow to Lamb's stomach with enough force to send the forward to the ground, but not enough force to warrant a suspension.

The MRP graded the strike as intentional conduct with low impact to the body, resulting in a $1500 fine that was reduced to $1000 with Davis' early guilty plea.

Meanwhile the Queen's Birthday clash between Melbourne and Collingwood was given the all clear by the panel on Tuesday morning.

Hawthorn's Brendan Whitecross was the only other player charged out of round 12.

He accepted a $1000 fine for striking Gary Ablett with a forceful hit to the shoulder.

The strike was graded as intentional conduct with low impact to the body, also falling short of a suspension.

Monday's charges were the first recorded by both Davis and Whitecross this season, meaning they can commit one more low-level offence each before a third such incident is penalised with suspension.

The MRP also scrutinised a forceful shove from Essendon's Brendon Goddard on Port Adelaide forward Robbie Gray in Saturday night's clash at Etihad Stadium, but gave the Bomber the all-clear.

"Goddard pushed Gray with both hands and the Port Adelaide player briefly went to ground," the Panel said in its findings.

"It was the view of the Panel that Goddard’s action was not a striking motion and no further action was taken."
