The AFL must adhere to an approved Ticket Scheme for the AFL Grand Final which defines who is able to access tickets.
Reserved seats to the AFL Grand Final for MCC Full Members will be allocated to successful applicants in a random ballot. Members must register for the ballot online via ticketek or by phoning 1300 136 961 by 7pm EST on Wednesday, August 21. Seats cost $25 and a deposit of $5 per seat is required for registration. Deposits will be refunded for those that are unsuccessful in the ballot. Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail and post after the ballot.
There will also be 8500 walk-up seats and more than 1000 standing spaces available for the AFL Grand Final for MCC Full Members on the usual first-in, first-served basis when the gates open to the game.
Up to 60% of total tickets available to AFL Members will be allocated to Full Members with a nominated Club Support package for either competing team. These will be made available from 10am EST on Sunday, September 22.
All remaining tickets will be made available to Full Members who have not already obtained a ticket from 9am EST on Monday, September 23.
AFL Silver Members with a Club Support package for either competing team may have an opportunity to access a ticket through their Club’s ticket allocation in the public section of the ground. It is the responsibility of AFL Silver Members to clarify eligibility and the ticket-selling process directly with their Club.
Should AFL Full Members not exhaust the allocation of Grand Final tickets on days one and two of sale, any remaining tickets will be made available to Full and Silver Members who have not already obtained a ticket on Tuesday, September 24, in the following order:
AFL Silver Members are advised to check the AFL Membership website after 5pm on Monday, September 23 for updates on ticket availability in the AFL Reserve for the 2013 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
In 2013 Competing Club members will be required to register their intention to purchase a Grand Final Reserved Seat only in either Semi-Final or Preliminary Final week.
Four (4) Clubs will be required to complete registrations, once they have qualified for a Preliminary Final via Ticketek either online or phone.
Each Club will be assigned one day to complete member registrations to be conducted on the following dates:
