CARLTON coach Daniel Harford has re-signed for two more years in the top job.

Joining the Blues ahead of the 2019 season, Harford has overseen 20 wins and two finals series, including an impressive 2020 campaign where the club lost just one game.

"I love this club and will be doing everything possible to give us the best chance to share some success with our members and supporters," Harford told the club website.

"Our playing list has certainly changed during his four years here and his ability to adapt along with that as a coach has been first class. Our list is the youngest in the competition and Daniel has shown that development is a big focus and will continue to be over the next few years," Carlton general manager of women's football Brett Munro said.

Harford will now oversee expansion list changes, with important players Maddy Prespakis and Georgia Gee already announcing their intentions to join Essendon officially when the expansion window opens.
