WESTERN AUSTRALIA  

Swan Districts enjoyed a 14-point win over South Fremantle away from home. Peel Thunder held West Perth goalless and scored 18 goals in a 121-point demolition. East Fremantle also held Subiaco goalless in its 50-point win. 

AFLW-Listed Players 

Ashley Sharp’s fine form in front of goal continued, kicking two goals from 11 touches in Swan Districts' win.

State League Players

Jessica Cox led the Swan Districts midfield with her 28 disposals and was supported by Taylor Pescud who was also in the side’s best.

For South Fremantle Liusaidh Gilchrist was her side’s best with her 16 disposals, three marks and two tackles.

Kate Bartlett kicked a bag of eight goals from 20 disposals in Peel Thunder's big win over West Perth. Chloe Wrigley collected 31 disposals in the win and Jade Briggs was also influential with her 23 disposals. 

West Perth’s Megan Norbury was singled out for her efforts in her sides tough loss where she finished with 17 disposals and 10 tackles.

Larissa Versaci and Ashleigh Gomes won 22 and 24 disposals respectively for East Fremantle and Elle Sanders kicked two goals in the win.


SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Sturt returned to the winners list with a 64-point win over West Adelaide at Hisense Arena. A three goal second term set up South Adelaide’s 16-point win over Central Districts. Norwood made it two in a row with a 27-point win over Glenelg. Woodville-West Torrens and North Adelaide played out a 4 point thriller with the Roosters taking the points after they kicked a crucial fourth term goal.

 AFLW-Listed Players

St Kilda’s Leah Cutting returned to the SANFLW for Norwood winning 36 hit outs, laying nine tackles and kicking a goal in her comeback game.

Cutting's Saints teammate Tahlia Meyer collected 24 touches, six marks and six tackles in South Adelaide's win.

State League Players 

Alisha Gepp led the way way for Sturt with her 27 disposals, seven marks and eight tackles with Georgia Bevan not far behind with her 24 touches.

Amy Brooks-Birve, India Rasheed and Abbey Rigter all kicked multiple goals for Sturt in the big win, Brooks-Birve leading the way with her three.

For West Adelaide it was Zoe Venning who impressed with 27 disposals, six marks and seven clearances. Beatrice Devlyn and Madison Russell were also involved for the Bloods.

Nari Wright collected 24 touches for South Adelaide's win, dominating the clearances with six. Jess Waterhouse continued to be dangerous in front of goals kicking three in the win.

Shelby Smith had a dominant performance for the Bulldogs leading all disposal getters with 32, laying 15 tackles to go with six clearances and five inside 50s.

Norwood’s Alanna Lishmund helped set up the win with her four goals from 14 disposals while Lana Schwerdt and Sachi Syme led the midfield.

Jessica Bates had her disposal count for the season winning 34 touches for Glenelg against Norwood. Sarah Goodwin also won plenty of the footy finishing with 29 disposals.

Former Carlton player Jess Edwards finished with an SANFLW record 46 disposals in her side's win against Woodville-West Torrens. Teammate Hannah Ewings kicked the Rooster game winner and had 17 touches of her own.

Shineah Goody led the Eagles with her 26 disposals, six marks and six tackles. She was well supported by Abbey Dowrick and Jess Sedunary through the middle.

VICTORIA

Casey Demons survived a surging Collingwood to hold on for a seven-point win at the AIA Centre. The Southern Saints took control of the game after a slow first quarter to run away 23-point winners over Port Melbourne. Darebin added another win to its tally in a low scoring game against Williamstown. Essendon enjoyed another big win this time over North Melbourne at Arden Street putting 13 goals past the North defence on its way to a 74-point win. Geelong held the Western Bulldogs to one goal in its 38-point win at Whitten Oval. Hawthorn held Carltong goalless in its 51-point win at Box Hill City Oval.

AFLW-Listed Players

Collingwood’s Jordan Membrey made her return from an ACL injury finishing with 5 disposals and six tackles in her return. Also making a return to playing from injury was Joanna Lin who finished with 16 disposals and seven tackles.

Brenna Tarrant and Maggie Caris were two of the Demons best in the win with Tarrant collecting 26 disposals and Caris kicking a goal from 18 touches.

Alana Woodward was prominent for the Southern Saints in the win over Port Melbourne collecting 23 disposals, seven tackles and a goal.

North Melbourne 2021 draftee Ella Maurer had a good turn out for her side finishing with 15 disposals, three tackles and five clearances.

Geelong young gun Laura Gardiner showed off her ball winning ability in the win over the Bulldogs finishing with 35 disposals and five tackles.

Newly signed Hawk Zoe Barbakos opened the scoring for the home side while fellow signee Bridget Deed finished with an equal game high 24 disposals and six tackles. 

State League Players 

Melanie Hogg won 22 disposals in Casey’s win and for the Pies Demi Hallett piled on the pressure with her 14 tackles.

Hannah Stuart and Winnie Laing led the Southern Saints midfield with their 24 and 26 touches respectively with Stuart dominating the clearances with eight.

Port Melbourne’s Kaitlyn O’Keefe led all players on the ground with her 12 tackles to go with 16 disposals.

Sally Lynch was dominant in the ruck for Darebin winning 40 hitouts, six clearances and seven tackles. Naomi Celebre and Nicole Callinan benefited from the service both finishing with 15 touches.

For the Seagulls Ruby Tripodi and Sharni Whiting battled for the home side finishing with 18 and 20 disposals respectively.

Federica Frew and Cecilia McIntosh both kicked four goals in the Bombers' big win while captain Georgia Nanscawen led from the front with her 20 disposals, 11 tackles and six clearances.

Jess Mourney and Elizabeth McGrath were two of the Roos' best in the tough loss, with Mourney winning plenty of the footy and McGrath battling in the ruck.

Geelong midfield duo Tamara Smith and Paige Sheppard combined beautifully again for the Cats both winning plenty of the football, applying plenty of pressure and winning the stoppages with their clearance work.

Eliza Vale and Eliza Morrison were the highlight for the Bulldogs finishing with 19 disposals a piece.

Tamara Luke was everywhere for the Hawks collecting 15 disposals, nine marks, six tackles and 34 hitouts. Abbey Holmes played her first game for the Hawks this season and kicked two goals from 15 disposals while Nicole Garner led with 24 disposals.
