Gold Coast has signed three mature-age defenders after being granted list concessions by the AFL.

Former Brisbane rookie Krystal Scott has re-joined the AFLW after spending 2018 and 2019 on the Lions' list.

Now 27, the former US college tennis player has been playing for Bond University.

Georgia Clayden, 27, joins the Suns from Ainslie (AFL Canberra), having also represented her city in netball and volleyball, while Gabrielle Biedenweg-Webster, 24, will make the trip up from Williamstown (VFLW).

"Georgia has great athleticism and competitiveness and comes from an extensive sporting background which shows with her professionalism," Gold Coast coach Cameron Joyce said.

"Gabrielle appealed to us as a running defender who loves to take the game on coming out of defence.

"Krystal is very competitive, she’s a hybrid defender who is hard to beat and can play on both tall and small opponents.

"We’ve set about improving our list in areas of need and these three players will help our defensive stocks while also bringing some fantastic experience to our group."

In other AFLW news, Brisbane confirmed Phoebe Monahan, Zimmie Farquharson, Ruby Svarc, Lulu Pullar and Luka Yoshida-Martin have signed for season seven. Injured forward Gabby Collingwood has also signed, but will be on the inactive list as she rehabs a torn ACL.
