A BLOCKBUSTER Friday night clash between Brisbane and Collingwood will headline the final round of the regular season, with a Sunday showdown between North Melbourne and Richmond also set to shape the make-up of the top eight.

The fixture for Round 10 was confirmed on Friday, with all eyes to be on the Lions' match against the Magpies at Metricon Stadium on the night of Friday, October 28.

The Lions and Magpies (along with Adelaide and Melbourne) have lost just one of their opening six games of the season heading into round seven, and both teams are expected to be battling for a top-four spot come the business end of the regular season.
