PRIZED Port Adelaide draftee Hannah Ewings and Western Bulldogs dynamo Rylie Wilcox have been rewarded for their impressive round three performances by receiving NAB AFLW Rising Star nominations.

Ewings, 18, starred in the club's draw against the Blues on Sunday afternoon, gathering a team-high 21 possessions, and laying four tackles.

The young midfielder was Port Adelaide’s first selection in the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft - pick No.3 overall.

The 18-year-old enjoyed a stellar 2022 SANFLW season, finishing fourth in the league’s best and fairest count and receiving All-Australian honours following a terrific under-18 national championship.

She caught the eye of recruiters with her elite kicking skills, football IQ, and ability to impact the scoreboard consistently.

Ewings becomes the second Power player to receive a nomination this season following Abbey Dowrick’s nod back in round one.

Classy young Western Bulldogs forward-midfielder Rylie Wilcox has also been recognised after her performance in the Bulldogs’ thrilling three-point victory against the Dockers.

The 17-year-old had 11 possessions and kicked a classy goal on the run in the second term as the Western Bulldogs maintained their unbeaten start to the season.

The youngster was selected with the Bulldogs’ first selection at the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft at pick No.21 after impressing in the NAB League Girls campaign where she averaged 20 disposals, five marks, and three tackles, which also saw her named in the 2022 AFLW U18 All Australian team.

The Northern Knights product has featured in all three matches this season and has impressed, showing off her speed and agility in her forward-wing role and also her fantastic ball use.
