THE AFLW Season Eight Supplementary Draft was completed on Tuesday night, with the Geelong Cats selecting Erin Hoare with the first pick.

Hoare played with Melbourne and the Cats before stepping away from the AFLW to continue her studies at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.

The 194cm ruck previously played netball with the Melbourne Vixens and NSW Swifts.

With the second selection, Port Adelaide picked former Fremantle player Jasmin Stewart.

Stewart was drafted from the currently undefeated Claremont (WAFLW) where she is averaging more than 22 disposals per game.

Fremantle selected Tahleah Mulder with the third pick, who has impressed with back-to-back 20-plus disposals this season for South Fremantle (WAFLW).

Eight former AFLW players were given a second chance with a new club: Erin Hoare (Geelong Cats and Melbourne), Jasmine Stewart (Fremantle), Katelyn Pope (West Coast Eagles), Selena Karlson (St Kilda and Western Bulldogs), Kristy Stratton (Collingwood), Bethany Pinchin (Brisbane Lions), Annise Bradfield (Gold Coast SUNS) and Yvonne Bonner (GWS GIANTS).

The Western Bulldogs elected to pass two of their selections at 15 and 25, along with the Gold Coast SUNS who passed at 24.
