THREE of the AFLW's very brightest stars – Madison Prespakis, Jasmine Garner and Alyce Parker – have committed to their respective clubs for another two years.
The All-Australian trio were part of Monday's final list lodgements ahead of the four-day delisted free agency window.
Prespakis, who was crowned the 2020 AFLW best and fairest at just 19 years old, signed a contract extension with Carlton and will be a Blue until at least the end of 2022.
Greater Western Sydney's Parker, who won her club's best and fairest this year (also at 19), signed a two-year deal to continue donning the orange and charcoal.
Powerful North Melbourne midfielder/forward Garner broke through to the very top echelon of AFLW players in 2020, winning both the AFLCA and AFLPA awards for most valuable player. She has also signed a two-year contract.
North Melbourne announced the bulk of its squad on Monday, with Sophie Abbatangelo, Kaitlyn Ashmore, Jenna Bruton, Ellie Gavalas, Jasmine Grierson, Emma King, Mia King, Tahlia Randall, Ash Riddell, Vivien Saad and Sarah Wright all committing until 2022.
Irish defender Aileen Gilroy will also return for 2021 after a breakout debut season.
The Roos also confirmed star defender Jess Duffin – who missed the 2020 season through pregnancy and gave birth to daughter Georgie in June – is contracted for next year.
GWS retained the bulk of its list, with 25 of this year's squad due to front up again in 2021.
Along with Parker, skipper Alicia Eva, Pepa Randall, Louise Stephenson, Tait Mackrill and Rebecca Beeson have committed until the end of 2022.
Revitalised key forward Rebecca Privitelli, who was redrafted by the Giants at the end of 2019 after a delisting and a year out of the system, has also signed a two-year contract.
Irish star Cora Staunton and countrywoman Yvonne Bonner will also play in 2021, with former Gaelic sensation Staunton set to take to the field at the age of 39 next year.

Lively All-Australian forward Kalinda Howarth headlines the 13 players to have now officially recommitted to the club.
Defensive pillars Jade Pregelj and Lauren Ahrens, classy draftees Serene Watson and Dee Heslop, dangerous goalsneak Kate Surman and versatile veteran Tiarna Ernst will be looking to improve on the Suns' strong debut season next year.
Fremantle quickly moved into the delisted free agency period, snapping up the signature of small forward Tarnee Tester who wasn't offered a contract by West Coast after her debut season.
Tester, originally from Broken Hill, was a member of Fremantle's talent academy before she was drafted by the Eagles in 2019.
The Dockers now have 27 players and will have three selections in October's NAB AFLW Draft.
The final draft order will be confirmed on Friday at the conclusion of the delisted free agency period.
