The AFL is pleased to announce Courtney Hodder from the Brisbane Lions Football Club has been named the winner of the 2023 Toyota Mark of the Year award.

Hodder's remarkable back-with-the-flight mark against Gold Coast earned her the 2023 Toyota AFLW Mark of the Year at the 2023 W Awards at Crown Palladium on Monday night.

Hodder's mark in Round Seven was selected by the All Australian committee (counted as nine votes) and by public voting (counted as one vote).

Her mark was selected over finalists Rylie Wilcox's (Western Bulldogs) mark in Round Three and Chloe Scheer's (Geelong Cats) mark in Round Nine.
