FRESH off scoring the match-winning goal in Sunday's four-point win against Greater Western Sydney, Yartapuulti's Lauren Young is the Telstra AFLW Rising Star nominee for round three.
Just seconds were left on the clock when Young marked in front of goal and calmly converted to win the game for the Power.
After joining the Power as an expansion signing in 2023, Young missed the 2024 season with a knee injury before debuting in 2025.
After four games in 2025, Young has really started to hit her stride in 2026, kicking four goals across three games.
