RICHMOND star Ellie McKenzie will play her first game of the season, Sydney defender Brenna Tarrant will miss the rest of the campaign with a knee injury and Essendon forward Daria Bannister will also make her 2026 debut. 

Tiger McKenzie has recovered from a broken arm suffered in pre-season, while Montana McKinnon also comes in for her first game of the year to face St Kilda. Forward Caitlin Greiser has been managed while key back Rebecca Miller has been dropped.

The Saints have made just one change, with Kyla Forbes replacing Carys D'Addario. 

Tarrant has ruptured an ACL and will undergo surgery, putting her among four Swans changes for the Sydney Derby. Jas Grierson and Lulu Pullar come back from injury, as does key forward Taylor Smith (wrist). 

Daisy Walker replaces the injured Brodee Mowbray in the Giants' only change. 

Essendon regains forward Bannister and midfelder Bess Keaney, who will play her first game after giving birth to her daughter. Brooke Walker has been dropped and the injured Sophie Alexander also goes out for the trip to face an unchanged Fremantle, which has named ruck Mim Strom despite her sore shoulder. 

Melbourne welcomes back forward Mia Austin for its clash with Port Adelaide, with Sinead Goldrick (knee) and Alyssia Pisano making way. The Power will be without the injured Sachi Syme and Lauren Young (managed). 

As revealed on Thursday, former No.1 draft pick Kristie-Lee Weston-Turner will play her first game for North Melbourne when the Roos take on Carlton, in place of veteran mid Jenna Bruton (managed). 

There's just the one change for the Blues, with Gab Pound recalled to come in for Keeley Sherar.
