ELLA Roberts picked up West Coast, put the team on her back and dragged it over the line for an upset first win over the powerful Brisbane Lions on Saturday.

But the young superstar's game wasn't even the best individual effort this season, per Champion Data's Player Ratings.

Roberts finished with an absolutely astonishing stat line, including 34 disposals (19 contested possessions), 11 clearances, eight tackles, six marks, six inside 50s and nine intercepts.

All that added up to a player rating of 21.4, with Champion Data defining its player ratings as "an objective, single-number metric that measures a player's direct impact on the scoreboard and game, known as 'equity ratings'.

"They calculate the value of every action based on location, pressure and how it changes the team's chance of scoring. It rewards positive play and punishes turnovers and poor accuracy."

It is the second-best West Coast AFLW individual performance, behind Roberts' 24.8 rating points in round five, 2024 against Greater Western Sydney (20 touches, three goals, nine tackles).

But former AFLW best and fairest winner and Richmond champion Monique Conti's efforts in Darwin against Essendon has been the best individual match in the 2026 season, so far.

The Tiger recorded 29 disposals (20 contested possessions), one goal, 10 clearances, six tackles, 769m gained, six inside 50s and five intercepts against the Bombers in the Darwin heat.

Impressively, Lucy Wales' top-rating match came when rucking up against Port Adelaide powerhouse Matilda Scholz.

St Kilda star Tyanna Smith caught the eye with a blistering performance on the fast deck of Marvel Stadium in round one playing Carlton.

Mim Strom's performance may have come against draftee ruck Josie Bamford and key forward Imogen Barnett, but she managed to rack up 28 disposals and kick a goal to go with her 28 hitouts.
