What's your nickname?

'Tahls' or 'Randall'.

Whose number did you wear on your back as a kid/who was your favourite player?

My favourite player growing up was – and still is – Simon Black, I had his number 20. Or if it wasn't his, it was Jonathan Brown's number 16. I was a big Lions supporter, so they're the two I really look up to. I was maybe four or five when they won the premierships, but it was definitely a good era when I was little.

What hobbies did you pick up during isolation/lockdown?

I was actually flat out, studying. I study a Bachelor of Podiatry online when I'm playing AFLW, and then when I come back up to Queensland over winter, I'm super-busy catching up on everything.

What's your most-used phone app, excluding social media?

Coastalwatch. It's definitely handy when I'm up in Queensland, I can look at the tides or the swell, but when I'm living in Melbourne, I just look at it and feel a bit jealous of what I'm missing out on.

Which teammate would go far in MasterChef

Probably Emma Kearney. Last year, once a week for a couple of weeks she made us quinoa and chicken salads to have after training. She's a whizz with what she made there, so I can't even imagine how she'd go if she put a bit of effort in. She'd go all the way, possibly win it.

If you could be any AFLW player for a day, who would you be and why?

I would probably be Chelsea Randall. Besides having a really good last name, she's just an awesome person. She's awesome at footy and is a genuine, caring person. I feel like she's always been lovely to me, when you see her again, she remembers the conversations you've had, so to be her and live life in her shoes one day would be pretty cool.

Worst teammate on social media?

We don't really have a worst teammate. We might have a 'best teammate' in Jenna Bruton and Jas Garner, because they just post about their dogs all the time, Honey and Bronson. Jenna will be on the tractor and Bronson will be in her lap, asleep. It's a concept I live for, it's great.

Which songs are on your pre-game playlist?

Anything from Abba, it really gets you up off your chair and up and about.

Who is the coach's pet and why?

I saw this question and I was thinking about it – I don't think we have one, because 'Crock' (Darren Crocker) is pretty new. And we don't quite have all our players back yet, (Aileen) Gilroy is still over in Ireland (at the time of interview), so we need everyone together to gauge who's the coach's pet.

What's one thing most people wouldn't know about you?

I played alto saxophone for seven years, all the way through school, and was in the school band, went to eisteddfods, everything like that. When I was over that, I taught myself how to play piano. I could already read music, so teaching myself a new instrument was procrastination from practicing saxophone. I love All of Me by John Legend, so I taught myself that song.
