2020 best and fairest: Alyce Parker

2020 in a nutshell: The best season in club history finished in heartbreaking fashion with a three-point loss to Melbourne in a semi-final. It shouldn't detract from an outstanding campaign though in which the Giants won four of their six games to finish second in Conference A.

2021 FIXTURE Blues, Magpies return to kick off new-look season

Circle it: The Giants get an early chance to bury their finals demons when hosting Melbourne at Blacktown International Sportspark in round two.

Player to watch: Rebecca Privitelli went from defence to attack in 2020 and turned heads. She is a high-flying contested marker that can kick goals or crash packs and provide opportunities for her forward line teammates.

Best Rising Star chance: Tarni Evans

2021 prediction: With minimal changes to last season's successful team, there's no reason why the Giants won't be right near the pointy end again. They have a tough opening three weeks against opponents that all played finals in 2020, but a positive start would set them up to again play the matches that matter most.
