AFTER a week of COVID-induced lockdown in Perth, Fremantle and West Coast will face off on Sunday.

The sudden Derby will commence at 4.15pm AWST at Fremantle Oval, but the game will be closed to the public in accordance with current government guidelines in Western Australia.

As it stands, only 150 people are allowed at the ground, inclusive of players, coaches, umpires, broadcast and venue staff.

It follows a week of fixture chaos as single COVID cases in Perth and Victoria led to three different iterations of the draw.

The Dockers and the Eagles have been allowed out for exercise for an hour a day with one other person during Perth's five-day lockdown, due to lift on Friday evening.

This means all 14 AFLW teams will play this week, with the first change to the fixture on Monday indicating only 10 teams would take to the field.

GWS and Adelaide – the other two sides which have been in Perth recently – will play in Sydney on Sunday in a game also closed to the public.
