ST KILDA has acted swiftly after finishing its second NAB AFLW season, delisting three players while one injury-prone Saint has called time.

The club's inaugural signing Ali Brown, defender Nadia von Bertouch and key position Tamara Luke will not be offered contracts for 2022.

Defender Selena Karlson – who has battled an Achilles issue of late – has retired, after injury prevented her from making her Saints debut over the past two years.

The key back previously played three games for the Western Bulldogs in 2019.

St Kilda also forecasted more delistings to come after finishing 11th with three wins, with the club website saying the club "will confirm further list changes in the near future."

Having played for the club's VFLW side, the versatile Brown was the first player elevated to the AFLW list, and played 11 games across two seasons.

She was also an inaugural Carlton player, recording seven games for the Blues in 2017.

Luke was selected with pick No.33 in the 2019 NAB AFLW Draft from Hawthorn's VFLW side, with the tall playing six games across her two seasons.

South Australian von Bertouch signed as an undrafted free agent ahead of 2020 and ruptured her ACL in her debut match in round one of that year. The defender recovered in time for the 2021 season, playing five of a possible nine games.

"It's never an easy time of year, and it's even tougher when we have to move on players who have been with us since our journey began," St Kilda head of women's football Jamie Cox said.

"All four women will forever be a part of our history and will always be welcome as part of the St Kilda family.

"We wish Ali, Tamara, Nadia and Selena all the best for the future, both on the footy field and away from it."
