ADELAIDE has made a host of changes ahead of its match against the Western Bulldogs, as it aims to lock in a finals position.

The Crows have welcomed back goalsneak Danielle Ponter (groin) and Hannah Button (shoulder) from one week on the sidelines, while Renee Forth and ruck Rhiannon Metcalfe have been recalled.

The experienced Jess Sedunary, Hannah Munyard, Lisa Whiteley and Chelsea Biddell make way, meaning the Crows will field two rucks with Metcalfe and Caitlin Gould.

By contrast, the Dogs have made just one change up forward, bringing in youngster Nell Morris-Dalton for Dani Marshall.

After one of the club's best wins, Melbourne will take an unchanged line-up into its big clash against Fremantle, while the Dockers have selected Bianca Webb in place of Katie-Jayne Grieve.

Late call-up Katelyn Pope – who earned her contract on the eve of the season – has big shoes to fill, taking the spot of suspended West Coast skipper Emma Swanson, who has been rubbed out for the remainder of the season after a rough conduct charge.

Opponents Richmond have made just one change after knocking off Gold Coast, selecting Hannah Burchell after a week's rest, with recruit Sarah Dargan making way.
