THE AFL wishes to advise Collingwood Football Club AFLW List Manager Jessica Burger will join the AFL Women's Competition Committee ahead of its second meeting for 2021, held today, Tuesday May 4.

Jessica started her career at Collingwood in 2016 ahead of the inaugural NAB AFL Women's season, playing a key role in the club's women's football programs which led to her appointment as the AFLW List Manager in 2018. Jessica was also a participant of the AFL's Women in Leadership Program in 2019

AFL General Manager Women's Football Nicole Livingstone said she was pleased Jessica will be joining the Committee.

"Jessica is a great leader for her club and a fantastic advocate for women's football at both an AFLW and grassroots level," Ms Livingstone said.

The AFLW Competition Committee assists the AFL Commission with the future direction of women's football, covering areas such as the laws of the game, tribunal, list rules and player movement, the competition structure, fixturing and talent programs.
