FIFTEEN-year-old Lauren Young has taken out the SANFLW best-and-fairest award.

It's been a stellar few months for Young, who was granted special allowance to play in the NAB AFLW Under-19 Championships. Primarily lining up as a tall midfielder (179cm), she was named South Australia's MVP at the conclusion of the state's games.
