WEST Coast pair Andrew Gaff and Matt Priddis have attracted late interest for Monday night's Brownlow Medal, despite declarations they could steal votes off each other.

Crownbet has taken separate bets of $3000 on Gaff at $17, and $3000 on Priddis at $4.50 this afternoon as punters consider the Grand Finalists' leading midfielders, who each earned All Australian selection.

Of the top 10 contenders on Monday night, however, Fremantle star Nat Fyfe is the only to shorten, with Crownbet winding him in from $2.00 on Monday morning to $1.95 due to a sheer weight of money.

There have been a number of $5000 bets on the overwhelming favourite, Crownbet said, with Patrick Dangerfield also attracting a wager of $2000.

Fyfe, who is attending the official count in Melbourne after the Dockers' season ended, attracted a bet of $50,000, into a Hawthorn premiership, on Monday morning.

There were other bets of $6,000 and $4,000 on Fyfe over the weekend.

On the main West Coast contenders, Gaff suggested they would struggle to pool enough three votes to win the medal.

"A lot of guys have performed well for us and are probably going to take a lot of votes off each other," he told AFL.com.au.

Brownlow Medal betting takes over from any Grand Final interest at this time of the week, so the flag market has not shifted since Hawthorn opened at $1.60, with West Coast at $2.40.

Crownbet says the biggest bet taken on this year's decider was $80,000 on the Hawks at $2.75.

West Coast defender Sharrod Wellingham has been the best backed player in the Norm Smith Medal so far at $51, after starring in the Eagles' win against North Melbourne.

The Hawks have a roughie of their own, with defender Taylor Duryea wound in from $151 to $101 after playing a key role against Fremantle on Friday night.

There has been typical interest in favourite Sam Mitchell at $6.00 and two-time medallist Luke Hodge $6.50.
