ESSENDON could yet be stripped ofpremiership points this season as an outcome of the ongoing ASADA supplementsinvestigation.

AFL general manager of football operationsMark Evans said on Monday that all options were open to the AFL if it sanctionswere applied against the Bombers.

"It is certainly within the scope ofthe Commission to do that, but it will be a Commission decision once it hasbeen tabled," Evans told AFL.com.au's Access All Areas when asked whetherthe Bombers could lose premiership points.

Essendon has won 10 of 13 matches this yearand is third on the ladder.

Evans stressed that the investigation wascontinuing and that there would be no comment on individual developments, suchas Bomber skipper Jobe Watson's remarks last week, so as not to"prejudice" the investigation.

Once completed, the findings will be handedto the AFL Commission.

"There is a range of possibilities ifthe commission decided there was a breach that needed to be acted on," hesaid.

"That could include a whole range ofthings from fines, draft picks ... it could be dealing with individuals andanything else," he said.
