PORT Adelaide midfielder Hamish Hartlett is set to miss the Power's last two premiership season matches after being offered a two-match suspension for the high bump that flattened Gold Coast's Seb Tape at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.

Hartlett is one of four players cited after the Match Review Panel's scrutiny of round 21.

Brisbane Lions veteran Simon Black has been offered a one-match ban for striking Greater Western Sydney's Callan Ward, while West Coast players Dean Cox and Scott Selwood can accept reprimands.

The incident involving Hartlett and Tape occurred during the second quarter of Port's win over the Suns.

Hartlett was attempting to lay a shepherd for teammate Chad Wingard when he collected Tape.

The Gold Coast youngster was concussed by the contact and had to be subbed out of the game.

The MRP graded the incident as negligent, high impact and high contact.

The initial penalty was a three-match suspension, but Hartlett can have it reduced to two if he pleads guilty.

If Hartlett does plead guilty he will miss the Power's crucial upcoming games against Fremantle at Patersons Stadium and Carlton at AAMI Stadium.

The second of those matches could decide whether Port makes the finals.

Black's strike on Ward, which occurred during the last quarter of the Lions' big win on Saturday night, was graded as intentional, low impact and high contact.

The initial penalty was a two-game ban, but an early plea would bring it down to one.

If Black accepts his suspension, he will be free to return for the Lions' round 23 match against Geelong at Simonds Stadium, which is a chance to be his farewell AFL appearance.

Cox was reported for striking Joel Selwood during the Eagles' big loss to Geelong at Patersons Stadium on Saturday night.

The MRP graded the incident as intentional, low impact and body contact.

Although the initial penalty was a one-match suspension, Cox can take a reprimand and 70.31 carryover points if he accepts the two discounts (the first for a six-year good record and the second for pleading guilty) on offer.

Scott Selwood was cited for tripping Geelong's Mitch Duncan during the second quarter of the same game.

The incident was graded as intentional, low impact and body contact.

Selwood can escape with a reprimand if he pleads guilty.
