Dennis Armfield - 2
Had the job on Daniel Hannebery, and lost. He had just nine disposals and a goal, and was unable to stifle his opponent's influence, who finished with 33 touches. The difference was Hannebery's hard running and he left Armfield in his wake.
Tom Bell - 3
Was subbed into the game in the second quarter after Ed Curnow bowed out with a knee injury. Had 16 touches but was missing for large parts of the game.
Eddie Betts - 2
Kicked the first goal of the game, and seemed like he was in for a big one. He finished the game on Jarrad McVeigh, who was clearly the best player on the ground. He kicked a second goal in the last quarter, but nine touches just isn't good enough.
Levi Casboult – 2
Could not work into the game at all. He had eight touches and did not have an impact on the scoreboard. Really disappointing night.
Ed Curnow - 1
Had the job early on Kieren Jack, and managed just three disposals before injuring his knee in a tackle. He was subbed out of the game in the second quarter. The Blues lost a crucial tagger in the process.
Nick Duigan - 2
Just goes to show how a week is a long time in football. Yesterday's hero couldn't get his hands on the ball, and was sent to mind McVeigh after he ran riot in the midfield. Barely sighted with seven disposals and four tackles.
Jeff Garlett - 1
Really poor game. Garlett had just three touches, despite all efforts to get him into the game. He copped a minor cork in the third quarter.
Bryce Gibbs - 4
Was given the job on Josh Kennedy early, but found some of the ball himself. His big moment came in the second quarter when he kicked a brilliant goal from 50m to get the Blues back within 20 points. But that was about it. He finished the game with 22 touches.
Chris Judd - 4
Couldn't back up his spectacular performance from last week. He had a tough time shaking the likes of Nick Malceski, and then didn't have much of an impact when he went up against Josh Kennedy. Fifteen disposals in a mighty quiet performance from the former skipper.
Lachie Henderson - 4
Henderson is one of a handful of Blues who can hold their heads up high. He stopped Jesse White from having an impact, and had a fair bit of the ball himself (22 disposals, nine marks).
Michael Jamison - 3
Went to Mike Pyke for some of the game after Kurt Tippett went down early. Jamison had eight touches for the game. He ended his season on a stretcher after hitting his head as Luke Parker fell back into him, with less than two minutes to go in the last term.
Andrew McInnes - 2
Had 12 touches, two tackles and four marks in a run-of-the-mill performance.
Brock McLean - 4
He got through the game all right after being a late withdrawal with a quad injury last week. Spent some of the game running with the red-hot McVeigh. He finished with 22 touches and three tackles in a standard game.
Marc Murphy - 4
Was tagged by Craig Bird for most of the game, in a tough game for the skipper. He finished with 25 possessions and seven marks, but was unable to have a real impact.
Mitch Robinson - 5
One of the top possession-getters for the Blues with 27, and kicked a goal in the last quarter, which just so happened to be the team's first score since the second term. Tried hard.
Heath Scotland – 4
Eighteen touches and three tackles for the veteran.
Zach Tuohy - 4
Had a tough night at the office trying to stop the likes of O'Keefe, Harry Cunningham and McVeigh at various times. He finished with 15 possessions.
Kade Simpson - 6
Not the way he wanted to celebrate game 200. Simpson spent much of the night on Jude Bolton, and while the Swan was influential, he didn't have a big possession count (12 touches). Simpson had 28 possessions in a really gallant performance. He was one of the best for the Blues.
Jarrad Waite - 4
Kicked a running goal in the first quarter, but was well held by Ted Richards for the bulk of the game. He kicked a couple late, but the game had been done and won by then. He had 12 touches and three goals by the final siren.
Andrew Walker - 6
Was influential off half-back, running with O'Keefe at times. He had 30 touches and three tackles, and was one of the shining lights for the Blues.
Robert Warnock - 5
Warnock had 33 hitouts, beating Shane Mumford's tally of 17 in a win for the Blues. But Mumford was classy with his possessions around the ground, whereas Warnock was kept to just 10 touches. Fought hard.
Chris Yarran - 5
Kept falling over, and eventually changed his boots late in the third quarter. Couldn't catch Lewis Jetta as he sprinted around the boundary to set up a Kieren Jack goal. Had 23 touches and took 10 marks, but kicked a disappointing three behinds.
