PORT Adelaide midfielder Andrew Moore has been ruled out of Saturday's Showdown against Adelaide after injuring his shoulder at training.

Moore had been cleared of the shoulder injury that saw him miss the Power's round-one win over Carlton, only to sprain his AC joint at training last week.

The strongly built 22-year-old could be sidelined for two weeks.

Emerging key forward Mason Shaw was injured in the club's SANFL trial against Central District at the weekend and will undergo scans on his wrist.

In better news for the club, key defender Alipate Carlile (quad) and versatile forward Paul Stewart (calf) could both make their 2014 debuts this weekend against the Crows.

After missing selection for round one, Carlile was solid for the Magpies against Central District, while Stewart will be assessed at training this week before being declared available for selection.
