HAWTHORN midfielder Jordan Lewis will be coming up against one of his favourite opponents when the Hawks do battle with Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.

The 28-year-old two-time premiership player has averaged 15.8 points in the Official AFL Player Ratings, brought to you by Gatorade, in his last seven games against the Magpies.

This compares favourably to his career average of 10.7 player ratings points against the other 16 clubs.

Lewis collected 23 disposals and kicked a goal when Hawthorn last met Collingwood in round 21 last year (the Hawks won the game by 35 points).

Two other players coming up against one of their favourite opponents this weekend are Geelong veterans Jimmy Bartel and James Kelly.

Bartel has averaged 18 player ratings points in his four matches against Gold Coast, which is 3.9 points better than his average against all other clubs.

He was second-best on ground, with a score of 21 points, when the Cats beat the Suns by nine goals in round 10 last season.

Kelly has averaged 16 points in his games against Gold Coast, compared to 12.6 points against his other opponents.

Brisbane Lions midfielder Tom Rockliff is among the players coming up against their bogey teams this weekend.

Rockliff has averaged just 9.4 player ratings points in his last five matches against Fremantle. He has averaged 12.8 against the other 16 clubs.

Hawthorn key forward Jarryd Roughead faces a similar proposition.

He averages just 9.3 points against Collingwood, compared to 14 against his other opponents.
