NORTH Melbourne captain Andrew Swallow looks to have escaped a serious knee injury but teammate Robin Nahas could be facing a spell on the sidelines after the Kangaroos' 41-point win over Melbourne on Sunday.
Swallow wrenched his left knee after he was tackled by Demons midfielder Dean Kent late in the final term at the MCG.
The Roos skipper, who only returned from a serious Achilles tendon injury six games ago, looked proppy on the sidelines but seems to have avoided major damage.
"Structurally it's fine. We'll double-check, but the medical staff are convinced that structurally it's fine," Roos coach Brad Scott said.
"It's just a little bit sore, he did twist awkwardly, so we'll get that checked out.
"I spoke to him just before walking in here and he feels really confident with it."
Nahas was substituted out of the game in the second quarter after he was ridden into the turf in a Neville Jetta tackle.
The former Richmond goalsneak landed awkwardly on his right shoulder and immediately left the field cradling his arm.
Nahas was seen walking the boundary line in a sling and was sent to hospital during the match, but the full extent of the damage is unknown.
"He's been sent off for scans so it's a suspected dislocated shoulder, but only suspected at this stage because it wasn't out of the socket when he came off," Scott said.
"Whether it subluxed or fully dislocated or not at all we're not sure so we'll get the scans and find out."
