PORT Adelaide thrashed Adelaide reserves at Alberton Oval on Saturday to cement its position on top of the SANFL ladder.
 
The Magpies kicked clear in the third quarter before running out 52-point winners.
 
Port’s Andrew Moore kicked three goals and pumped the ball inside 50 eight times in a good performance. He kept winning the ball and looked good. Kane Mitchell also played well with 35 disposals.
 
Matt Crouch and Cameron Ellis-Yolmen were Adelaide's best midfielders and Jason Porplyzia battled hard kicking three goals.

Richmond's Shaun Grigg returned from injury in the Tigers' disappointing loss to Port Melbourne on Saturday but had little influence.
 
He kicked one goal but was overshadowed by Ben Lennon who was Richmond's best with more than 20 disposals as Richmond went down by 42 points. Liam McBean kicked two goals and former Adelaide player Chris Knights one.
 
Former Tiger Dan Connors kicked three goals for Port Melbourne in veteran John Baird's 200th game.

West Coast tall Callum Sinclair pushed his claims for an immediate recall after impressing for East Perth in their 21-point win over West Perth in terrible conditions on Saturday. 

Sinclair was dropped for returning, and retiring, champ Dean Cox on Saturday night. Sinclair kicked the first of just five Royals’ goals to help his side home.

West Coast teammates Jamie Cripps and Fraser McInnes also kicked a goal apiece. 

Out-of-form midfielder Sharrod Wellingham injured his knee in the match

Eagles rookie Will Maginness was best afield in the WAFL reserves. 

Fremantle’s affiliate side, Peel Thunder, had a bye.

Key forward Jordan Lisle kicked six goals for the Brisbane Lions as it defeated Gold Coast by 12 points on Saturday.
 
The talented Marco Paparone was the Lions' best player and Jackson Paine played well.
 
The Suns' rookie Leigh Osborne battled hard and Timmy Sumner was handy.
