IF

THEN

Adelaide

this club gets into a groove...
…it will make the finals very interesting. Texan the key.
Brisbane Lions

we've been critical of the Lions all season, and we have......it is only fair that we go overboard this week with praise. A massive well done since the first bye, particularly to you, Pearce Hanley.
Carlton

there's one thing Mick loathes......it is players who make poor decisions, or mistakes, at key times. Which will make for an interesting week for Casboult, Ellard, Docherty and Wood.
Collingwood

there was a surprise of last week......it was the acceptance, with only minimal penetrating questioning, of what has happened to the Pies in 2014. The blowtorch will come if they lose badly to Port.
Essendon

James Hird's lawyers invoice the Bombers for briefing a Herald Sun journo...…the same journo should invoice the same lawyers after he was prepared to put his name to that delusional copy last weekend.
Fremantle

Corey McKernan and Chris Grant have shared something in common for 17 years......it's looking increasing likely that Nat Fyfe will soon, unfortunately, get to share it too.
Geelong

the Cats finish round 19 second on the ladder, and they could,...we're going to have to wake-up and realise they're alive in the premiership race.
Gold Coast

this club stands for anything...
...it will win this weekend. It simply has to, for Guy McKenna's sake.
Greater Western Sydney

every footballer had Heath Shaw’s attitude when talking to the media...
...more journos would turn up to club’s weekly press conferences.
Hawthorn

Jon Ceglar feels hard done by…we're hearing him. Has stood up very well and would be No.1 ruck at a few clubs.
Melbourne

Roosy has now committed for a third season......he'll be using the remaining five matches of 2014 to work out who will be staying on the journey with him.
North Melbournethe Roos used the week's break wisely......they would have re-grouped and told some home truths to each other.
Port Adelaide

the stage is set this week for anyone......it is for Chad Wingard. Out of sorts recently, but tipping the bye will have him ready to explode back to form against the Pies.
Richmond

it took until this week for big Ivan to admit why Richmond was a slow starter this year - because it was below par in training standards early in the year...
...you just have to wonder how complacency could have been allowed to be tolerated.
St Kilda

there was one club who didn't want the bye when it came......it was the Saints. Momentum from the win against the Dockers might now be lost.
Sydney Swans

Jake Carlisle turns it on again......the Swans will lose their second in a row.
West Coast

our assessment of this club is right......the short to mid-term future is bleak.
Western Bulldogsthe Dogs can lock Bontempelli away until at least 2017......they should immediately look to also prolong the deals of Macrae and Liberatore.
