MELBOURNE's James Frawley has fronted up at the Demons' best and fairest on Thursday night, despite intense speculation over his future.

The unrestricted free agent is yet to re-commit to the club, having put talks on hold at the start of the season.

Geelong, Hawthorn and Gold Coast are all in the race to sign the in-demand swingman, with Demons CEO Peter Jackson all but conceding last week that he set to leave.

Frawley remains a popular figure amongst his teammates and coach Paul Roos said he was content with how the 2011 All Australian had carried himself around the club this season.
