COLLINGWOOD has been dealt a pre-season blow, with Darcy Moore and Alan Toovey suffering minor interruptions to their 2015 campaigns.

The Magpies announced father-son recruit Moore, who the club drafted at pick No.9 in last year's NAB AFL Draft, has injured the big toe in his left foot and is looking at three weeks on the sidelines.

Moore has been placed in a moon boot as precaution and the mode of treatment will be reviewed once he is cleared to return to training.

However, the club is confident the injury will not have any long-term ramifications on Moore's career.

Toovey has a minor strain to his left calf and, as a result, has been placed on a modified program for the next two weeks.

The negating defender sustained the injury while following his running program on his Christmas break.
